The Role
Business development is a process of identifying and implementing new growth opportunities both internally and externally. At CyberConnect, the BD team is the sharpest spear, managing our ecosystem of over 2000 partners. This responsibility comes with various tasks that the BD team handles, including customer relations, identifying pain points, implementing solutions, strategizing on the direction of growth, expanding the pipeline, and following up with clients, among others.
What You'll Do:
- Orchestrate and manage various BD initiatives across our different verticals, CyberConnect Protocol, Link3, CyberWallet.
- Strategic Partnerships: Track and manage our key partnerships and the related customer pipeline to ensure that both partners are maximizing the ROI from the relationship
- Client Engagements: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring consistent communication and understanding of their needs and objectives.
- Team Player: Works closely with various internal teams, serving as the primary point of contact for our partners and ensuring that projects are aligned with our business goals and standards.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform and refine our strategic approach.
- Making bold bets - build a close relationship with smaller projects with huge growth potential in early stage. Provide them support and build a win-win partnership.
What We Are Looking For:
- Communication skills: You must be able to communicate with clients of all backgrounds and technical focuses. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills (in English) are must-haves.
- Organizational skills: You must be comfortable juggling numerous clients, on- and off-site meetings, and deadlines. Individuals who are highly organized are best equipped to manage the many parts of the job and keep client proposals and other tasks on track.
- Drive and self-motivation: The most successful business development managers are goal-oriented and mission-driven. Our team is decentralized, so a successful BD needs to be intrinsically motivated to do well & deliver value.
- A growth mindset: The most important thing is to have the courage to attempt new things, make mistakes quickly, and learn from them.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 3-4 years + experience in business development, and/or technical sales
- At least 1 years of experience in web3 and crypto
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Strong track record of driving product growth and exceeding sales targets
